(As with any wood it will expand and contract in various temperatures and humidity.  So even though the wood has been kiln dried or air dried, it can still crack, split, twist and warp in the different conditions it is subject to.  Some call it charater while others consider it a defect.  I will work with customers to rectify any unexpected and/or extreme conditions that render my product unusable.)
